This compact infant bed is designed to help protect babies while co-sleeping, by reducing the hazards of the adult bed. Features include rigid protective walls, firm mattress, an envelope sheet, washable quilted cover, and an open end for touching and soothing. This 3lb. bed folds into a small case for easy portability and goes everywhere, including daycare, hotels, and eventually into the crib as a transitional tool, helping infants adjust to a new bed. Later, use the product for a changing area. The unit is placed between the adult pillows. The walls on either side of the product block the pillows and the rear wall and base reduces risk of entrapment between the mattress and the headboard. Since the infant is lying at adult's head level, the risk of rollovers or overheating and suffocation from adult bedding is greatly reduced. The open end of the product allows easy access to baby for soothing and cuddling throughout the night. Nighttime feedings are convenient because Mom never has to leave the bed. Just simply pull baby down to open area to feed and then when done, push the baby back up in the walled area.
